About

Report. Respond. Protect.

LAW Patrol is a Nigerian platform for reporting human-rights incidents, getting a trained response, and keeping a safe record of what happened.

What we do

You describe what happened in a guided form. A trained case officer reads it, sets how urgent it is, and works on it. You can follow every step on your own private case page, using a reference like LP-2609-A7K4Q2.

How urgency works

Urgency and stage are two separate things. A case can be at any stage and still be critical. Urgency is first set by fixed written rules — not by artificial intelligence — based on danger to life, ongoing harm, children involved, and similar factors. A reviewer can change it, but only with a written reason that is permanently recorded.

Privacy and safety

  • We never publish reports, names or allegations. Nothing you send becomes public.
  • You choose how we contact you, at what hours, and which channels are unsafe.
  • Only you and the assigned case team can see your case.
  • Every time a staff member opens or changes a case, it is written to a record that cannot be edited or deleted.
  • You are asked for clear consent before we handle or share anything.

What we are not

LAW Patrol is not the police and not an emergency service. We do not run petitions, fundraising or payments. We do not claim partnerships or verification we do not have, and we do not publish statistics we cannot stand behind. Every organisation and phone number listed on this site is checked before it is shown.

Being built next

A secure evidence vault, verified-lawyer matching, referrals to partner organisations and offline access are in development. We would rather ship them properly than pretend they already work.

LAW Patrol provides reporting, information, coordination and referral services. Legal advice is provided only by qualified legal practitioners.
